Alan Watts said: "The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance." I believe change represents opportunity and growth, and that coaching is a means to excel at the dance of life.
My approach to coaching is much like a dance—You are the leader. I partner with you to uncover your desired outcome, identify courageous changes, and spark the flame of insight and commitment that will propel you forward. Together, we explore practical, actionable solutions to the obstacles keeping you from your desired outcome.
I help clients give voice to often pivotal questions like:
· What’s your greatest pain point?
· What's truly important; what's possible?
· Who do you want to be; What story are you telling yourself?
· What impact do you want to have?
We select one or two assessment tools to help broaden and pinpoint areas of importance to you. The most impactful assessments are "live 360", Emotional Intelligence (Ei-Q), and DiSC. These represent two of the assessment tools recommended in a Forbes article for Executive Leaders.
Then through a non-judgmental, inquisitive, and outcome-focused approach to coaching (with a dash of consulting when needed), we explore what is most alive for you, what idea is worthy of action, and ultimately achieve the aspiration you identify—whether it’s to up your leadership influence, overcome mindset or communication obstacles, or to increase productivity and performance.
This is a process that evolves with discoveries, successes, and insights. Execution and practice build confidence and capability. Many clients embark on coaching trying to change something outside themselves only to discover it is an “inside job," a shift in mindset, that enables them to do extraordinary things.
